Richmond is the perfect size for me. I hate bad traffic or parking, and this area is small enough that it isn't too bad. However, it's large enough to have a variety of things to do. There's walking / running and fishing or picnicking at Lake Reba, bowling and arcade games at Galaxy Bowling, movies at Cinemark, and so much more! Not to mention a wide variety of restaurant options (special shout-outs to Koto and Bumble Bites!)
As long as I've been here, EKU has been a place of opportunity. As a first-generation college student who arrived at EKU with very little idea of how to be successful, I was scared at the beginning. However, I quickly found a home among the amazing staff, faculty, classmates, and student staff here. I've grown personally, academically, emotionally, and professionally, and I owe it all to the amazing environment that Campus Beautiful offers!
